Group Director, Experience Strategy & Innovation At Sam’s Club we’re redefining membership. We’re searching for a Group Director of Experience Strategy & Innovation to lead the future of member‑facing journeys across online, membership lifecycle, and services.

Position Summary Lead multiple experience squads, partner with product, engineering, and business, and shape strategic frameworks that drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple Experience Squads focused on transforming how members engage, shop, renew, and discover services.

Partner with leaders across product, engineering, and business to bring end‑to‑end member journeys to life.

Shape the strategic frameworks, culture, and playbooks that define how experience strategy drives measurable business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design, product, or related field and 8–10 years of experience in UI/UX and visual design.

5 years supervisory experience leading design or experience teams.

Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and inclusive digital experience design.

Preferred Qualifications

Design certification (e.g., IDEOU Foundations in Design Thinking).

Master’s degree in design or related field.

Experience in retail, eCommerce, or supply‑chain product design.

Salary Base pay range: $195,000 – $370,000 per year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
