Overview This role supports Mylar Americas in establishing an FP&A driven mindset across all FC‑planning processes, contributing to global Mylar processes, and providing ad‑hoc support for Finance Team activities such as financial audits. The candidate is passionate about and can drive cost management, productivity improvement and standardization in forecasting processes, while owning and monitoring business‑improvement projects. The candidate should continuously push operations to meet and exceed objectives. Acting as a business partner, the candidate owns and drives cost and productivity management across Mylar Americas and implements an FP&A mindset. Demonstrates high integrity, creativity, efficiency, and strong communication skills. Actively keeps stakeholders engaged and informed of critical activities and issues (Mylar CFO, Mylar CEO, Regional Operations and functional leaders). Specific responsibilities: Drive margin analysis to support improved decision‑making on VL and GM for the Mylar business. Provide financial modelling for business optimisation projects. Consolidate financial forecast and AOP for the Americas region, driving forecast accuracy and accountability. Support the Mylar Global CFO/Finance Team with related reporting requests. Optimise and maintain existing reporting decks for internal business and manufacturing reviews (KPIs, trends, etc.). Coordinate with other local regional Mylar finance organisations to harmonise FP&A processes. Required knowledge/skills/abilities: Manage own projects and drive change. Strong analytical skills. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Self‑directed, multi‑tasking and prioritising work under minimal supervision. Collaborate and communicate across different levels in the organisation (peers, operation managers, senior leaders, operators, etc.). Proficient in SAP. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. 8+ years of relevant experience in finance/FP&A. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
