What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain company accounting policies in compliance with U.S. GAAP
Support critical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock-based compensation
Perform technical accounting research and prepare memos for new standards and complex transactions
Manage the preparation of Form 10-Q's and 10-K filings with the SEC
Interface with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
What is Required (Qualifications)
5+ years of recent financial reporting experience, including experience in a public company
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
Active CPA designation or equivalent certification
Strong technical accounting background with knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations
Experience with the preparation and filing of SEC-compliant reports
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Combination of private industry and public accounting experience
Recent experience with reporting systems, preferably Workiva
Demonstrated experience with managing SOX processes at a public US company
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office or Google Suite tools
