Accounts Payable Specialist
Beacon Hill Financial is currently searching for a contract Accounts Payable Specialist for our global client in the Clayton, Missouri area. This position pays up to $24/hr depending on experience. Base pay range:
$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Essential Functions
Process high volume vendor invoices, matching against purchase orders.
Work with established AP team members to ensure processing is accurate for assigned business divisions.
Communicate with appropriate team or department members to escalates invoicing issues.
Prepare and process payments, such as checks, electronic transfers, or ACH payments.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.
Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices and payments are accounted for accurately.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
