Role Summary Ferguson is seeking a Senior macOS Application Administrator to join our Enterprise Device Engineering team, driving secure, scalable Apple device management across the organization. This role leads the deployment and lifecycle of macOS and iOS platforms using Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune, while supporting users and maintaining compliance with enterprise standards. You’ll collaborate across teams to package software, optimize endpoint workflows, and mentor junior staff.
Location: This position may be remote or hybrid in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities
Lead the provisioning, deployment, and maintenance of macOS and iOS devices, ensuring secure and efficient onboarding processes.
Manage and administer Jamf Pro and/or Intune for Apple device lifecycle management, including deployment, configuration, and security enforcement.
Support users with setup, configuration, security, and ongoing maintenance of Apple devices.
Maintain accurate inventory of Apple devices and accessories, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for Apple products and endpoint management workflows.
Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for managing Windows, iOS/iPadOS, and macOS devices.
Package and deploy software across all supported platforms, including Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
Monitor system health, performance, and compliance across platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards.
Provide Tier 3 support and mentorship to junior administrators and service desk teams.
Respond to incoming requests in accordance with SLAs, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in enterprise IT administration, with 3+ years focused on macOS and iOS device management.
Hands‑on experience with Jamf Pro and/or Microsoft Intune for Apple device lifecycle management.
Good understanding of macOS architecture, security, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting 100+ macOS systems in a semi‑automated environment.
Familiarity with software packaging, deployment, and patch management.
Working knowledge of network protocols and enterprise configurations.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused approach.
Compensation Pay Range: $6,805.95 – $11,921.25 (estimated). The specific rate will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
