Job Overview Member Service Representative I/II must provide accurate information regarding member inquiries while actively cross‑selling and educating members on Credit Union products and services. Outstanding service must be delivered while remaining professional, responsive, and encouraging. I is responsible for understanding and complying with credit union policies, procedures, and industry regulations while protecting member assets and the credit union. Core Responsibilities Member Service
– Accurately process member requests received through incoming calls, update member database, verify members to minimize fraud, and identify/escalate priority issues. Sales & Cross‑Sell
– Meet member needs by maintaining strong product knowledge, regularly providing referrals to lending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, and business banking. Knowledge & Compliance
– Keep current through ongoing training, side‑by‑side, quality control, online BVS courses, and daily use of Outlook and Element to deliver world‑class service. Bank Secrecy Act
– Adhere to Ent policies, procedures, and BSA regulations. Member Service Representative I Essential Functions Member Service – Accurately process member requests via incoming calls, verify members, minimize fraud, identify priority issues. Sales – Maintain knowledge of products and services, provide referrals, and handle all areas of lending, investments, electronic banking, wealth management, and business banking. Knowledge – Strengthen knowledge through ongoing training, Quality Control sessions, and daily use of Outlook and Element. Member Service Representative II Essential Functions Member Sales & Service – Answer calls, accurately answer inquiries, troubleshoot problems, verify members, and elevate priority issues. Resolve member concerns and provide solutions. Knowledge – Maintain current knowledge through ongoing training, side‑by‑side, Quality Control sessions, online BVS courses, and daily use of Outlook and Element. Qualifications High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. 6+ months customer service experience (Preferred). Inbound phone experience (Preferred). Sales experience (Preferred). Previous financial institution experience (Preferred). Member Service Representative II – Minimum Formal Qualifications High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. 1+ years combined experience in inbound phone experience and financial services (Required). Sales experience (Preferred). Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills Strong Customer Service focus. Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Office. Typing, computer, and ten‑key required. Symitar experience beneficial (I) / strongly preferred (II). Strong communication and writing skills. Organizational skills required. Compensation & Benefits Member Service Representative Call Center I: $18.75 – $19.75 (S10). Member Service Representative Call Center II: $20.60 – $23.48 (S11). Eligible for monthly incentive plan.
