About the Role We’re seeking a

CVICU Advanced Practice Provider

who is passionate about delivering exceptional cardiac critical care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role is ideal for an experienced

AGACNP

or

Advanced Practice Provider

who thrives in critical care settings and is ready to make a meaningful impact on patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill cardiovascular patients through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management.

Manage patient care from admission through in-hospital follow-up.

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes.

Work with complex cardiac cases, including CT surgery patients, endovascular and open aortic repairs, CABG, and valve surgeries.

Participate in advanced training, including device management and other critical care interventions.

Qualifications

Education:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – AGACNP required

Experience:

Minimum 2–3 years of critical care (ICU) experience as an RN, NP, or PA

Proven experience with heart failure populations (ICU or mixed setting acceptable)

Schedule: Willingness to work night shifts (6p–6a), including weekends and holidays

Licensure: Active and unrestricted license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain)
