We're looking for our first Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive pipeline growth and help scale our sales motion. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings with decision-makers at online marketplaces and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the GTM team to refine messaging, optimize outreach strategies, and build relationships with prospective customers. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape our sales motion and grow within the company as we scale.

This is an in-person position. Our office is located in San Francisco, CA.

What you\'ll be working on

Generate and qualify leads through strategic outbound prospecting, targeting trust & safety, legal, and compliance leaders

Execute multi-channel outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage key decision-makers and book discovery meetings

Conduct initial conversations to understand prospect needs, assess fit, and ensure smooth handoffs to the GTM team

Maintain accurate tracking of outreach activities, interactions, and pipeline progression in our CRM

Provide insights from customer interactions to help refine our sales messaging, ideal customer profile, and go-to-market strategy

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, business development, or lead generation preferred).

Tech-savvy and adaptable , with experience with sales tools (or willingness to learn) including : Hubspot, Apollo, SalesNav, LinkedIn, Excel. Nice to have experience with AI tooling and automation

Strong communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and engage prospects effectively

Self-motivated and goal-oriented , with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously

Coachability and a growth mindset , eager to learn, iterate on strategies, and refine sales strategies based on feedback
