PowerBI Developer Contractor

Minimum experience:
2+ years in Splunk, PowerBI, and Dashboarding
As a PowerBI Developer Contractor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining PowerBI reports and dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making. Your duties will include:
Design, develop, and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards based on project requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Optimize and enhance existing PowerBI solutions for better performance and usability.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data visualization and reporting.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PowerBI‑related issues.
Splunk Dashboarding Responsibilities In addition to PowerBI duties, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards and visualizations for real‑time monitoring, event tracking, and decision‑making.
Ingest diverse data sources and build use‑case‑driven dashboards to enable actionable insights across cybersecurity, operations, IT infrastructure, and business analytics domains.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hands‑on experience with Splunk dashboarding, including Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), report creation, and dashboard optimization.
Working knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for data manipulation.
Exposure to IT operations, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructures.
Strong project management or Agile experience.
Pay rate:
$54.16/hr (depending on experience)
