PowerBI Developer Contractor – Seattle, WA (Remote)

Position:
PowerBI Developer Contractor – 4+ month contract (Nov 10 2025 to Mar 31 2026), W2.
Location:
Seattle, WA – Remote.
Primary Skill:
Splunk – Advanced (6‑9 years of experience).
Required Experience:
2+ years in Splunk, PowerBI, and dashboarding.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Design, develop, and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards based on project requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Optimize and enhance existing PowerBI solutions for better performance and usability.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data visualization and reporting.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PowerBI‑related issues.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations within Splunk for real‑time monitoring, event tracking, and decision‑making.
Ingest diverse data sources, build use‑case‑driven dashboards, and enable actionable insights for clients across cybersecurity, operations, IT infrastructure, and business analytics domains.
Qualifications
2+ years of hands‑on experience with Splunk dashboarding, including Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), report creation, and dashboard optimization.
Working knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for data manipulation.
Exposure to IT operations, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructures.
Strong project management or Agile experience.
Pay $54.16/hr, depending on experience.
