About the Role
MEP Manager – Owner’s Representative – Data Center Projects in Port Washington, WI.
We help clients build innovative workplaces and communities and are looking for an experienced MEP Manager to join our Owner’s Rep team.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on Data Center projects.
Ensure MEP installations meet design, budget, quality, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts (clash detection).
Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and compliance.
Monitor installation and commissioning activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems.
Manage contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
Conduct regular site inspections and attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements.
Liaise with consultants, architects, and the client to ensure technical requirements are met.
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules for MEP works.
Ensure all MEP works are executed safely, meeting local codes and standards.
Lead testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful handover of MEP systems.
Participate in project set‑up, budget and schedule creation, and oversee related activities.
Develop RFPs, support pre‑bid planning, and coordinate with design‑build or traditional contractors.
Oversee physical construction activities on site and manage contractor safety performance.
Coordinate logistical planning for all OFCI equipment and hand‑off final project documents to customers and operations.
Qualifications
Mid‑Senior level experience in MEP management for data center or similar large‑scale construction projects.
Proven track record of coordinating complex MEP installations and commissioning.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of local codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
