This position is to oversee the development of Power BI dashboards, Crystal Reports, write the necessary SQL Queries/procedures, update the data warehouse as necessary utilizing SSIS and build new start schemas. Work with end users to understand business case and reporting requirements to address data challenges/issues Build the necessary SQL Queries/Views/Tables/Procedures as required for report or dashboard Build Power Query Script and/or DAX to get the required data Develop relational database star schema data model Build the table, matrix, graph, etc. and compare results to core data to confirm accuracy Conduct necessary meetings and work with the end user to test and tweak the dashboard as necessary Follow proper procedures for publishing new reports or dashboard Publish and maintain the various dashboards, for all the different areas of the company (Project Controls, Safety, Procurement, Equipment Management, Accounting, etc.) Education
High School Diploma Position Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future BS in Computer Science preferred At least 5 years of SQL coding experience At least 3 years of developing Power BI dashboards At least 3 years of developing SAP Crystal reports Experience with a data warehouse At least 3 years experience with building complex star schemas in Power BI Experience with using APIs to connect Power BI to external sources Vista by Viewpoint experience is a plus Experience in R or Python is a plus (predictive analytics) Experience with SSRS is a plus Training
