Overview The Architectural Designer role at Actalent focuses on aviation projects. You will use Revit to produce architectural designs for airports and manage construction administration tasks including reviewing site plans, proposals, and scheduling, as well as creating construction documents and collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform architectural production using Revit for aviation projects.

Conduct construction administration tasks such as site plan reviews, design reviews, and proposal evaluations.

Create detailed construction documents using Revit.

Collaborate with project teams to accomplish project deadline goals.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Revit

Experience in construction document creation

Strong background in architecture and construction administration

Minimum of 7 years of architectural experience

Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Experience with aviation projects is preferred

Familiarity with construction administration tasks such as RFI response, design review for construction companies, and site visits

Experience with commercial and large building projects

Work Environment Hybrid schedule: work from home on Mondays and Fridays with office hours 8am‑5pm, Monday‑Friday, totaling a 40‑hour work week. Team of over 10 architects in Houston. 2 weeks PTO and holiday pay. Contract through end of 2026 with possibility of direct hire.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire, based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay & Benefits Pay range: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour.
