We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team, focusing on aviation projects. You will utilize Revit software to produce architectural designs for airports and manage construction administration tasks including reviewing site plans, proposals, and scheduling. Your role will also involve creating construction documents and collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform architectural production using Revit for aviation projects.
Conduct construction administration tasks such as site plan reviews, design reviews, and proposal evaluations.
Create detailed construction documents using Revit.
Collaborate with project teams to accomplish project deadline goals.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit
Experience in construction document creation
Strong background in architecture and construction administration
A minimum of 7 years of architecture experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aviation projects is preferred
Familiarity with construction administration tasks such as RFI response, design review for construction companies, and site visits
Experience with commercial and large building projects
Work Environment This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with office hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, totaling a 40‑hour work week. You will be part of a dynamic team of over 10 architects based in Houston, enjoying a collaborative and supportive work environment. The role offers 2 weeks of PTO and holiday pay, with a contract extending through the end of 2026 and the possibility of a direct hire.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
