Candidate Profile

A strong interest and motivation in laser material processing, metal additive manufacturing, or AI/ML applications in advanced manufacturing

Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Metal additive manufacturing (AM) methods (e.g., DED, Cold Spray, LPBF)

Laser material processing and micro/nano-scale applications

Computational modeling and simulation for AM

Application of AI/ML for AM

Materials science and metallurgy

Microstructure characterization (SEM, EBSD, XRD)

In-situ process monitoring in AM

For Master’s and PhD applicants: minimum GPA of 3.3/4 and fulfillment of English proficiency requirements

For postdoctoral applicants: a proven track record of publications in metal additive manufacturing

Candidates should be self-driven, collaborative, and eager to contribute to high-impact research projects
