Overview The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting a Neuroradiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate or full Professor. This full‑time, 1.0 FTE, non‑tenure track position will primarily serve the UF‑Health Shands campus in Gainesville. Clinical responsibilities include patient care, neuroimaging interpretation, and CT and ultrasound‑guided procedures in both adult and pediatric patients. The role also involves teaching housestaff and medical students and may incorporate the University of Florida Children’s Hospital services. Research and development in artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced imaging techniques are integral to the department’s mission.
Responsibilities • Clinical care of patients, including neuroimaging interpretation and procedural guidance. • Teaching of housestaff and medical students. • Participation in departmental research and AI initiatives. • Collaboration with the University of Florida Children’s Hospital for tertiary pediatric services.
Minimum Requirements
MD or equivalent degree with completion of an ACGME accredited neuroradiology fellowship.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Obtain a medical license in the State of Florida prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in Head and Neck radiology and advanced MR imaging (DTI, fMRI).
Neuroradiology CAQ is favored.
