This contract position requires an on-site presence and offers an exceptional opportunity to work within the dynamic field of anesthesiology in a staffing and recruiting environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various healthcare settings. This position not only allows you to apply your clinical expertise but also to collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
Evaluate patients’ medical history and determine anesthesia plans
Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and address their concerns
Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care and patient responses
Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia techniques
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Experience in administering anesthesia in various surgical settings
Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and techniques
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Schedule: 7a-3p
No call requirement
5 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 1 urology suite
Cases: Bread and butter, general surgery, urology, ENT, OB, ortho, ophthalmology, pediatric dental
Will handle epidurals for OB
Must be comfortable working independently
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
