We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) As a crucial member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services to patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working closely with our medical team to ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well‑being of individuals undergoing medical procedures while honing your expertise in anesthesia. Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to anesthesia administration. Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the administration of anesthesia. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required. Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies. Requirements:
Valid CRNA certification and state licensure. Demonstrated experience in administering anesthesia in a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of anesthesia principles, practices, and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety. Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Schedule: 7a-3p Beeper Call Shifts: 3p-7a, every 4th night and 4th weekend Case Types: General, endo, OB, GYN, orthopedics, and limited acute pain management Spinals and epidurals required Team Structure: 4 CRNAs per day Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
