Description
Reporting to the VP of eCommerce, the eCommerce Account Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of their account’s eCommerce business including, but not limited to contract negotiations, product launches, promotional opportunities, day-to-day logistical operations and the account relationship.
We’re looking for an experienced, proactive eCommerce Account Manager to take ownership of key eCommerce partnerships including Amazon, The Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Lowe’s among others. This is a high-impact role focused on managing and growing relationships with some of our most strategic North American accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts with a focus on Amazon, The Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and Lowe’s.
Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
Develop and execute account strategies to drive sales growth, margin improvement and operational efficiency.
Provide clear, concise, and direct guidance to cross-functional remote teams, including marketing, logistics and finance.
Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and optimize account plans.
Responsible for online data enrichment through maintaining existing online products, adding content to websites via portal, communicating pricing updates and accurately maintaining customer databases.
Partner closely with customer contacts to anticipate needs, solve problems and proactively surface opportunities.
Manage account’s paid advertising opportunities including all pay-to-play activities designed to increase online traffic.
Create strong, trusted relationships with customers, across all levels of their organization.
Requirements
eCommerce experience required.
3–5+ years experience in Account Management or Sales, preferably in consumer goods or home furnishings.
Proven track record working with Amazon.
Strong understanding of retail merchandising, marketplace dynamics and supply chain operations.
Comfortable leading within a remote, cross-functional team structure.
Exceptional communicator - clear, direct, and confident.
Highly organized with a bias for action and ownership.
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and isn’t afraid to dive into the deep end.
