Job Summary TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced and hands‑on Digital Solution Architect for Digital Emergency Services located in Atlanta, GA. This role bridges the gap between cloud‑native platforms and embedded hardware solutions, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable system architectures that meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

You will collaborate closely with the product owner and cross‑functional teams working in the areas of cloud backend, embedded system, CPaaS systems, security, and operations to define and implement end‑to‑end solutions that power our digital emergency services.

Essential Job Functions TK Elevator aims to be a leader in industrial IoT solutions and data‑enabled software solutions that make our customers and users successful and happy. Jointly with leading technology companies as strategic partners, we have just released our first digital native elevator "EOX" with an integrated Digital Emergency System. We will continue this journey – to improve the lives of people everywhere, every day.

High‑Level Solution Architecture:

Define and support the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that integrate embedded systems with cloud‑based services. Lead technical decision‑making and provide guidance on best practices in both embedded and cloud domains.

Architecture Documentation:

Create and maintain system architecture, including diagrams, data flows, interfaces, technical documentation and integration points between the different development teams to ensure clarity and consistency in system design.

Security & Compliance:

Work closely with security specialists to integrate cybersecurity best practices into all phases of the development lifecycle. Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulatory requirements.

Development Support, Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:

Support development teams during implementation and testing phases. Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring reliability and performance of digital elevator solutions.

Performance Optimization:

Ensure that all software and system designs are optimized for performance, efficiency, and scalability.

Education & Experience

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an exceptional GPA.

Proven experience (5+ years) in solution architecture, with a strong track record in both cloud and embedded systems (preferably in projects involving complex systems).

Deep understanding of IoT architectures, real‑time systems, and cloud‑native design patterns.

Preferred experience in safety‑critical systems (e.g., emergency services, automotive, medical devices).

Technical Skills

Hands‑on programming experience with expertise in one or more languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python.

Deep knowledge of architecture modeling tools and methodologies such as UML.

Strong background in embedded systems and cloud integration.

Deep understanding of IoT communication protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets.

Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms like Azure IoT Hub.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, connected systems, and compliance standards.

Preferred knowledge of real‑time operating systems (RTOS), Linux embedded, and microcontroller architectures.

Soft Skills

Outstanding creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Ability to work in a global, cross‑functional team environment, managing multiple priorities and adjusting to shifting requirements.

Language

Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages, such as German and/or Spanish, is beneficial.
