Responsibilities
Lead accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audits. Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grants, and bond management. Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, state, and federal requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting, asset tracking, and financial transparency reporting. Supervise and develop finance staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. 8+ years finance/accounting experience, including 5+ in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, payroll, AP/AR, grants, and bond management. Proficiency with accounting/payroll systems (Abila MIP and Paylocity a plus). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Salary range: $100,000–$125,000 annually, plus benefits. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CFS by 2x. Seniority level:
