Human Resources Coordinator at LIM College supports the HR team and Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations, Treasurer (EVP). The role handles recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and miscellaneous HR functions in a female‑led institution focused on fashion and lifestyle education. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general administrative support to EVP Finance & Operations, Treasurer, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reconciliation. Recruit and manage internal and external hiring processes through Paycor, including vacancy postings, hiring manager training, weekly open job reports, and candidate interview scheduling. Coordinate onboarding activities: offer letter preparation, reference checks, orientation sessions, payroll entry, and onboarding tracker updates for full‑time, part‑time, student, and adjunct hires. Partner with the Payroll Accountant to enter new hire payroll adjustments bi‑weekly and maintain employee file documentation for all staff, faculty, and student workers. Manage benefits enrollment paperwork, I‑9 verification, E‑Verify compliance, and physical filing to keep the college in compliance. Maintain HR files, org chart, telephone directory, business card business, and the myLIM website. Facilitate HR events, annual sexual harassment prevention training, committee participation, overall HR strategy development, and distribution of merit increase memos and wage notices. QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, data and analytics. Experience: 1 year of administrative coordinator experience or preferred HR processes and procedures. Skills: Strong analytical skills, oral and written communication abilities, and effective project management abilities. BENEFITS
