Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all AP-related shared services center (SSC) activities.
Track and challenge SSC performance against KPIs and SLAs, escalating issues when needed.
Own and optimize the full AP process from invoice intake to payment execution.
Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Partner with internal teams to resolve cross-functional process gaps and improve AP workflows.
Requirements
Demonstrate hands‑on leadership in managing outsourced AP operations, preferably with BPO experience.
Conduct structured weekly reviews and align SSC performance with business expectations.
Support ERP transitions and automation efforts in collaboration with IT and Finance teams.
Maintain audit readiness by embedding and validating key control checkpoints in AP processes.
Work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in‑office; be located within 30 minutes of Torrance, CA or open to relocation.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in AP operations with direct oversight of shared services or BPO providers.
Show proven success in improving AP performance and implementing scalable workflows.
Understand end‑to‑end AP processes including invoice intake, approvals, vendor setup, and payments.
Communicate effectively across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT teams.
Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and thrive in fast‑paced, high‑expectation environments.
