Position Overview The

General Manager

will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the ranch, responsible for delivering exceptional, fully customized guest experiences while maintaining operational and financial excellence. This individual will oversee all facets of the property—from guest relations and culinary experiences to facilities, sustainability, and capital projects.

The ideal candidate is a

seasoned hospitality leader

with proven experience in ultra‑luxury or boutique resort management, a passion for the outdoors, and a natural ability to inspire and develop a high‑performing team in a close‑knit, purpose‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Leadership

Lead the property’s operations to deliver flawless, fully personalized experiences for each private group.

Maintain a warm, intuitive service culture that anticipates and exceeds guest expectations.

Personally engage with guests to ensure every detail of their stay reflects the property’s ethos of excellence and authenticity.

Operations & Financial Management

Oversee all daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and exceptional attention to detail.

Manage annual budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to meet revenue and profitability goals.

Implement operational systems and standards that enhance both efficiency and the guest experience.

Project Management

Oversee or support new build, expansion, or renovation projects through to completion.

Work closely with designers, contractors, and ownership to preserve the integrity, aesthetic, and functionality of the property.

Team Development

Recruit, train, and mentor a team of hospitality professionals who share a passion for service and the outdoors.

Foster a culture of respect, empowerment, and collaboration within a small, dedicated team.

Lead with positivity, balance, and hands‑on engagement.

Sustainability & Stewardship

Champion sustainable practices that honor and preserve the natural environment.

Integrate eco‑conscious principles into every aspect of operations, sourcing, and guest experience.

Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of experience as a General Manager

(or senior leadership role) within a

luxury hospitality environment , such as a private resort, lodge, or boutique property.

Proven success in

financial management

and

operational leadership .

Experience managing a

new build, remodel, or property enhancement project

to completion.

Deep appreciation for nature, wilderness settings, and outdoor adventure.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a gracious, service‑oriented approach.

Strong strategic acumen combined with hands‑on operational management style.
