Senior Litigation Attorney
to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success managing complex cases, mentoring junior attorneys, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to lead significant matters and contribute to the firm’s continued reputation for excellence and efficiency in litigation defense.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as lead counsel on workers’ compensation and employment defense cases from inception through resolution or trial.
Oversee case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials before state and federal courts.
Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with associate attorneys and support staff.
Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and third‑party administrators to provide timely case updates and strategic guidance.
Identify opportunities for cost‑effective resolution and implement efficient case management strategies.
Maintain high ethical and professional standards while delivering superior client service.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership (or eligibility and willingness to obtain).
5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in workers’ compensation, employment defense, or related practice areas.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex litigation and handling cases independently.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication abilities.
Proven record of client relationship management and business development is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
