Position Summary We are seeking a strategic, results‑oriented Director of Channel Sales to lead relationships with Value Added Channel Partners in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in channel sales and partner management, and a proven ability to drive exponential growth through joint go‑to‑market strategies, executive alignment, and operational excellence. This role will lead a team of Channel Account Managers to support growth across a broad Display portfolio including digital signage, LED, HTV, desktop monitors, and software and solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
Account Leadership: Serve as the primary executive contact and strategic leader for a focused set of VAR channel partnerships.
Sales Management: Lead a sales team and grow revenue of our B2B display portfolio.
Revenue Growth: Own and exceed revenue and profitability targets through effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
Partner Development: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including executive leadership, sales leaders, and key partner resources.
Joint Business Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans that align with Samsung’s sales priorities, product launches, and marketing strategies.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to provide tools, training, and programs to our Channel Partners.
Program Execution: Drive execution of joint marketing campaigns, sales incentives, and enablement programs to increase Samsung share of wallet.
Data & Reporting: Analyze sell‑through performance, identify gaps or opportunities, and use data‑driven insights to align strategy and execution.
Field Engagement: Oversee alignment between Samsung and Channel Partner field sales teams across regions to drive co‑selling initiatives and end‑user engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of experience in B2B channel.
Deep understanding of the VAR channel partner business model, sales motion, and culture.
Proven track record of managing channel partner relationships and delivering revenue growth.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Experience developing joint go‑to‑market strategies and executing through indirect sales.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Experience with CRM software (Sales Force preferred).
Salary Salary ranges vary by region:
Colorado: $166,500 – $205,500
NYC: $198,000 – $245,000
Washington State: $182,500 – $225,500
California: $190,500 – $235,000
New Jersey: $190,500 – $235,000
