Duties & Responsibilities
Design and develop robust and scalable data warehouse architectures to support business goals, reporting, and analytics needs.
Administer and tune database systems (SQL Server, Azure SQL, or other platforms) to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Integrate disparate data sources (Business Central, Salesforce, ADP, etc.) into a centralized warehouse using ETL/ELT best practices.
Develop ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar platforms.
Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and security protocols across all systems.
Support business users and data analysts with optimized queries, views, and datasets for reporting.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and implement proactive optimizations.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in database administration and data warehouse development.
Proven track record of delivering performance-optimized data warehouses at scale.
Strong SQL expertise with experience in query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and replication.
Proficient with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).
Understanding of data modeling principles (star/snowflake schema).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
