Environmental Health & Safety Manager

This exciting role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role will focus on implementing strategies to reduce environmental impact, conducting safety training and enforcing safety standards, as well as optimizing resource efficiency. They are headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities

Lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the facility, ensuring alignment with ISO 45001 (Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 9001 (Quality) standards.

Maintain full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations through proactive monitoring, audits, and documentation control.

Drive continuous improvement in environmental sustainability, waste management, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and root‑cause analyses to eliminate hazards and prevent recurrence.

Partner with operations and leadership to integrate safety and environmental best practices into daily workflows and long‑term strategy.

Deliver EHS performance metrics and KPI updates to site and corporate leadership, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Foster a strong safety culture built on engagement, ownership, and servant leadership—balancing hands‑on involvement with strategic direction.

Lead and develop EHS staff, promoting collaboration and professional growth while ensuring consistent compliance and performance excellence.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial settings (highly automated environments preferred).

Hands‑on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 management systems.

Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations.

Proven ability to conduct safety risk analyses, investigations, and root‑cause corrective actions.

Strong background in waste management, air and water permitting, and regulatory compliance.

Experienced in audit preparation, data reporting, and maintaining documentation for management systems.

Demonstrated leadership that blends strategic insight with practical, day‑to‑day involvement (part Sheriff, part Diplomat, part Investigator).

A servant leader who drives engagement, accountability, and measurable EHS results is preferred.

Salary Range

$100,000-120,000 base salary per year plus 15% annual bonus eligibility
