The Associate Attorney is responsible for managing a diverse caseload of personal injury prelitigation cases from beginning to end, which involves speaking with clients to ascertain their needs and update them on their case, choosing the most appropriate course of action, drafting demands, negotiating with insurance adjusters, and monitoring the disbursement of settlements. Associate Attorney Responsibilities
Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources to decide on a modus operandi.
Drafting legal texts, such as letters of rep, insurance notices, and demands.
Advocating for clients in insurance negotiations.
Informing your department manager about salient developments in each case.
Ensuring that client data remains confidential and is stored securely according to protocols.
Maintaining complete and accurate records in our case management software.
Remaining abreast of changes to legislation.
Associate Attorney Qualifications
Accredited Law degree.
Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
0-3 years of experience in pre‑litigation.
Enthusiastic about serving clients in the field of personal injury.
Foundational accounting skills.
Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
