Responsibilities
Corporate Development
Strategy and opportunity identification: Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the company’s corporate development strategy, including identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities.
Transaction execution: Lead the end‑to‑M&A process—from sourcing and evaluation through negotiation, due diligence, and execution.
Financial modeling and valuation: Develop and oversee financial models and valuation analyses to support investment and transaction decisions.
Relationships with intermediaries: Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and family‑owned businesses.
Cross‑functional leadership: Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, HR) throughout the deal lifecycle to ensure strategic alignment and disciplined execution.
Post‑merger integration oversight: Collaborate with integration leaders to ensure business case realization, own the post‑merger synergy scorecard, and provide quarterly performance updates to the Executive Team and Board until integration completion.
Investor Relations
Investor relations strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive program that aligns with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
Communications: Partner with the CEO, CFO, Corporate Communications, Accounting, and FP&A to craft clear, consistent messaging for earnings materials, investor presentations, and public disclosures.
Investor engagement: Serve as a key spokesperson for the company with investors, analysts, and financial media; build and maintain strong relationships with the investment community.
Market intelligence: Provide the Executive Team and Board with actionable insights into investor sentiment, market trends, and competitor activity.
Event management: Lead quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and non‑deal roadshows, ensuring consistent messaging and executive preparation.
Regulatory compliance: Ensure all investor‑facing communications and disclosures are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with SEC and exchange regulations.
Direct Reports Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for a team of 2–3 direct reports.

Experience 10+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or corporate development, plus a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or other advanced certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements
Remain in a seated or stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work for extended periods of time leveraging office tools such as computers.
Ability to work remotely in a quiet environment.
Ability to host multi‑hour conference calls.
Ability to travel via car, plane, train, bus.
Salary Base Salary Range: $290,000 – $360,000 annually. This role is also eligible for additional compensation through an annual/sales bonus. Compensation is determined based on relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Distributed with pay equity considerations.
