We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for a hybrid opportunity based in Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for long-term extension. In this role, you will design and build cloud security controls, develop APIs, and enable best-in-class cloud infrastructure and automation. The team values innovation, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to engineering excellence. Senior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities

Design, scale, and deploy various cloud security controls and services. Build workflows and integrations across IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS environments. Develop APIs using Python (knowledge of an additional programming language preferred). Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and technologies. Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions. Collaborate across teams to define requirements and deliver secure, cloud-based solutions. Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Senior Cloud Engineer Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, or compliance. Strong AWS experience (S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.). Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and security tooling. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with YAML and JSON. Deep understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and automation frameworks. Experience with containers, virtual networking, and scaling strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Additional programming experience (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js) (preferred). Prior experience in software engineering and cloud architecture (preferred). Exposure to Agile development environments (preferred). Perks & Benefits
