(Senior) Product Manager, Software & AI solutions (Medtech)
Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Product Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative operating room equipment, software and AI-powered solutions in the medical technology space. This individual will wok at the intersection of engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to deliver cutting edge digital healthcare products that improve patient outcomes and streamline surgical workflows
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the OR equipment, Software & AI solutions product portfolio, strategy and development thereof according to client and market needs
Conduct market research, competitive assessment and map out customer journey
Through VoC, translate customer needs into user requirements and product concepts
Develop the business plan and go to market strategy
Co-develop marketing/communications programmes with marketing and drive content for sales collateral messaging, sales training and tools
Act as liaison between Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Affairs, Customer Support and Supply Chain
Identify, develop and manage strategic external partnerships with technology vendors, research institution, healthcare providers and other third parties to accelerate product development and market adoption
Build out a strong network and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders
Stimulate innovation across Barco, stay updated with new developments and evolutions in the MedTech, and promotes a growth mindset across the company
Who are we looking for? Educational background
Master of Science, Master of Engineering or equivalent
Major in Engineering, Biomedical, Bioengineering, Biology, Computer Science or other relevant major
MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Skillset
5 years product management or strategy management experience in healthcare, medtech or medical devices
Proven success in product management across the continuum of sustaining current products and working closely with R&D on new products from conception through development and launch execution
Regulatory experience required
Prefer strong understanding of AI and ML principles, and how they can be applied to solve business problems in the healthcare domain
Prefer experience with OR integration and deep understanding of workflows in this field
Proven experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma and analytical platforms
Strategic thinker, innovator & agile mindset
A strong commercial insight and drive are key
Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
Language: English is required (others are extra)
Enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams
Mobility
Travel up to 20%
