The Opportunity: What You'll Do As a
Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) , you will be the primary clinical expert, driving successful patient outcomes through every phase of care:
Clinical Assessment:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, reviewing medical history, diagnostic data, and functional goals to determine optimal prosthetic or orthotic interventions.
Design & Customization:
Utilize your expertise to measure, or cast patients, and design highly customized, functional devices (including advanced componentry and emerging technologies).
Fitting and Alignment:
Perform precise static and dynamic fitting and alignment of devices, ensuring superior comfort, biomechanical function, and patient safety.
Rehabilitation Partner:
Provide essential patient education and training on device use, care, and maintenance. Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other care team members.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ABC/BOC standards, ethical practices, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA).
Diverse Work Environment:
Evaluate and treat patients in a variety of clinical settings including in office, hospitals, nursing homes, and more.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, 401k and profit sharing, travel/expense reimbursement and CEU/licensure reimbursement.
We're Looking For: Qualifications
Certification:
Current, active certification as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
Experience:
2+ years of clinical experience post-certification is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong background in biomechanics, exceptional manual dexterity, technical proficiency in fabrication and adjustment, and outstanding patient-centered communication skills.
