What We’re Looking For
Senior Designer (6–8 years of experience)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Residential experience in architecture or interior design firms
Proficiency in AutoCAD , InDesign , Photoshop , and Rhino and/or SketchUp
Strong design sense, graphic ability, and organizational skills
Positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude
Must be based in the Bay Area and able to commute to our San Francisco office 3 days per week
Senior Designer Responsibilities
Lead multiple residential interior architecture projects from concept to completion
Manage and mentor junior designers (2+ direct reports)
Create detailed plans, elevations, and custom millwork drawings
Oversee vendor and contractor coordination, budgets, and schedules
Manage FF&E specification, procurement, and installation
Prepare 2D/3D presentation materials
Conduct site visits, field verification, and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Intermediate Designer Responsibilities
Support all phases of design and documentation
Prepare and coordinate interior drawing packages
Develop detailed construction drawings with strong material knowledge
Track project timelines and budgets
Communicate with clients, vendors, and consultants
Select finishes, fixtures, and furnishings
Produce renderings, 3D sketches, and presentation materials
Assist with procurement and site coordination
