The School of Public Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year. This pool will be utilized on an as‑needed basis. Your application will remain active for a year; you may resubmit your application for the subsequent years. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
Duties & Responsibilities
Meet all designated course instruction guidelines.
Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instruction/rubric provided.
Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
Submit final grades according to School/Department policy.
Responsibilities: Teaching Lecture courses.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy, Biostatistics or related field.
Demonstrated experience and flexibility working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member of VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy, Biostatistics or related field.
Demonstrated experience teaching Public Health courses.
Salary Range $2,000
per credit hour
