Why This Role Is Important

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data across general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes to deliver timely, accurate financial results supporting company reporting and compliance goals.
• Manage and develop the accounting team, promoting process improvements, staff growth, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and external audit/tax requirements to maintain financial integrity.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, HR, and other departments to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting.

The Background That Fits

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in management or supervisory roles.
• Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting; IFRS experience a plus.
• Proficient with Oracle or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in multi‑entity or international environments, ideally within manufacturing or distribution industries.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
