Radiology Locums Job in California Monday Friday Beginning January Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details: One week every other month for 6 9 months (specific week based on other physician s schedule) Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Credentialing Timeframe: days Requirements: Board Certified (highly preferred) or Board Eligible California State License Residency Required; No fellowship required Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred) Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies Must maintain MQSA standards (960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months) BLS/ACLS and DEA required during credentialing Required Procedures: Mammography PET Breast biopsies Duties: Read studies of all modalities Perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies Read PET scans (preferred) Assignment Details: Outpatient Clinic EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, and other support staff Average Monthly Volumes: Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc.): 13 Screening Mammos: 225 Diagnostic Mammograms: 30 Types of Reads: For the Interventional Radiologist (IR) Perform basic procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drain placements, abdominal drains, suprapubic catheters, and nephrostomy tubes Interpret CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs Review radiology studies from the emergency department and inpatient list during the day If uncomfortable with any study, option to f
