Job Code/Title E9393:Data Scientist Analyst Sr Job Description What You Will Be Doing: Within the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Sustainment organization, this Data Scientist Analyst Sr, level 3 position will work with a talented group of technical individuals supporting the F-22 program. This Sustainment Spares Modeling, Simulation, and Forecasting position will perform exploratory research and analysis to identify novel and meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets and uses statistical methods to reject or accept proposed hypotheses about relationships or latent predictive factors discovered through their work to provide business value. Areas of expertise should include several of the following: applied statistics, text mining, natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, optimization, and other similar fields. They should have demonstrable experience in developing predictive models and new algorithms to solve data / business problems; understanding the math and statistics behind the models and interpret, extrapolate, and prescribe from data delivering actionable recommendations using effective visualizations to influence business strategic decision-making. To be eligible for this role, the candidate should have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
