Law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
Prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives
Assist with trust administration, including asset transfers, preparing allocation schedules, and maintaining trust records
Manage probate filings from petition through final accounting and distribution
Prepare and file court forms, affidavits, and legal correspondence
Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel
Coordinate and track deadlines, manage case files, and maintain organized documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate required
Minimum 4–6 years of trusts & estates experience in a law firm setting required
Microsoft Office and legal document management systems required
Familiarity with fiduciary accountings, estate tax returns (706), and trust funding preferred
