Litigation Paralegal We are representing a boutique plaintiff’s firm in El Paso, TX dedicated exclusively to catastrophic trucking litigation. The firm represents clients in high-stakes cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and complex trucking liability. With a reputation for achieving record verdicts and leveraging both legal and scientific expertise, the firm is committed to delivering justice for victims of trucking negligence.

Position Summary The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with specialized expertise in trucking law. The ideal candidate will possess extensive, hands‑on experience managing catastrophic trucking cases from intake through trial. The successful candidate will be expected to operate independently, demonstrating mastery of FMCSA regulations, underride cases, black box data, and catastrophic injury litigation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of catastrophic trucking litigation, from case intake to trial support.

Conduct comprehensive fact and document management, including review of discovery materials, medical records, and accident reports.

Analyze black box (ECM / EDR) data, driver logs, GPS, and telematics for case development.

Apply in-depth knowledge of FMCSA regulations and industry safety standards to cases.

Draft and organize pleadings, discovery requests / responses, motions, and trial exhibits.

Coordinate with experts to prepare testimony and trial materials.

Assist attorneys during depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.

Maintain precise case files and litigation calendars for high-volume, high-stakes matters.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with at least 3+ years focused on trucking litigation.

Strong trial preparation and courtroom support experience.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and case management skills.

Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and case management systems.

Bachelor’s degree and / or paralegal certification preferred.
