Job Summary: ABB is a global market leader that helps industries become leaner and cleaner. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will design and implement marketing strategies for the SMISSLINE and ProLine Energy Distribution products, ensuring alignment with ABB’s global marketing strategy and achieving key performance indicators. Responsibilities: • Creates, plans, and ensures implementation of the US go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy; Ensures achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed. • Focuses on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested; Develops and implements annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant business units and/or product groups. • Develops business plans focused on driving business development for the low voltage distribution and protection market, ensuring profitable business growth; Evaluates market opportunities, determines appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinates opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate. • Ensures balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units; Creates product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach; Develops and implements product support and training initiatives, ensuring high customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the global business unit Marketing and Sales team. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor degree (Electrical Engineering or related field preferred) • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing Management in a related electrical products/application industry • Experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures • Ability to perform competitive analysis required • Travel up to 30-50% required • Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA Preferred: • Six Sigma or equivalent training in process and quality assurance methodology preferred • Experience with customer relations via service, visits, relationships, etc. preferred • Cary, NC, is the preferred location Company: ABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries.
