The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. Learn About Our State Supported Living Centers. Responsibilities and Duties Provides administrative support, technical assistance and project coordination for Unit IV. Work may entail a broad range of responsibilities. Work is performed under supervision with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. Frequent contacts with public are required. Works under the primary supervision of the Unit Director. Must coordinate, prepare, and print complex data analysis. Must be able to meet internal and external customers in a fashion that promotes a warm, inviting atmosphere. Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or rotating schedule, extended shift, and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Ensures the completion of assignments given to administrative assistants. Tracks completion of assigned in-services and special projects for the unit. Tracks data collection for SASSLC Management Plan pertaining to the completion of CT&D training classes for Unit IV. Tracks data collection for SASSLC Management Plan pertaining to the completion of employee evaluations for the Unit Director. Tracks data collection for SASSLC Management Plan pertaining to Active Treatment for off-campus and leisure activities. Provides ongoing feedback to managers on completion of above assignments. Completes monthly reports for various State Office requirements. Schedules meetings and appointments, answers routine inquiries and familiarizes self with resources at SASSLC. Coordinates activities and projects. Reports data analysis and prepares and presents complex data analysis using all available software. Ensures staff are scheduled for and receive all mandatory training within established timeframes, as evidenced by reports from CT&D. Coaches staff when performance or conduct problems are noted and ensures that supervised personnel perform their duties according to written job description. Participates in disaster response and/or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Working knowledge of office practice and administrative procedures. Working knowledge of Business English, spelling, punctuation and math. Knowledge of Windows and Excel. Skill in the use of electronic data and/or word processing equipment and software. Ability to apply knowledge of Departmental Rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and functions to office management and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently on difficult or complex clerical tasks. Ability to keep complex clerical records and prepare accurate reports from varied statistical data or other types of technical information. Ability to complete effective correspondence. Ability to supervise other administrative assistant staff and coordinate the delegation of assignments from other Client Services Managers. Registrations, Licensure Requirements or Certifications:

None Initial Screening Criteria: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Office Management, Legal Administrative Assistance or Healthcare Administration field of study, plus one (1) year of experience in performing moderately complex clerical and administrative assistance work. OR Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent. Four (4) years of experience performing moderately complex clerical and administrative assistance work. Additional Information: Applicants must pass a fingerprint criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and registry checks including CANRS, Nurse Aide, Medication Aide and Employee Misconduct and HHS LEIE. Males 18-25 must be registered with Selective Service. All State Supported Living Center Employees are subject to Random Drug Testing. Flexibility in work hours may be required; overtime and/or weekend/holiday work may be required.
