FullTime Nanny in the Arboretum Area for a 17 Month Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte (near the Arboretum area) in finding a Full-Time Nanny who would primarily be responsible for caring for their youngest daughter, who is 17 months old.

The family also has two older daughters, ages 5 and 8 years old who are both in school full-time. In the afternoons, they are cared for by their parents and grandparents. There may be very minimal amounts of times (1 - 4 hours per month) where the nanny would be needed to watch all 3 children, if the parents and grandparents are not available.

The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, ideally 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There may also be a need for occasional date night sitting as requested. Advance notice will be given for any babysitting needs.

The best nanny would be an experienced, reliable, and engaging nanny who will care for their 17-month-old daughter. Responsibilities include following her daily routine, ensuring her needs are met, and planning age-appropriate, enriching activities that promote her growth and development. Their daughter enjoys being read to, playing with toys, doing arts and crafts, going on strolls, playing both indoors and outdoors, and attending activities such as music and art classes. A nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning through play is essential.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of their daughter (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the child on an age‑appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands‑on learning activities with the child

Transport her to activities and appointments as needed

Household Duties Include (The child is priority):

Youngest child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

Youngest child’s daily meal prep and prepping about 4 meals that can be fed to the youngest child on the weekends.

Washing or loading the youngest child’s and the nanny’s dishes into the dishwasher

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

Picking up after the nanny and the youngest child throughout the dayOrganizing children’s bedrooms and play spaces

Grocery Shopping

Running errands

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a pre‑screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

Be non‑smoking/vaping

Swimming is required to bring the child to the pool as she gets older

CPR and First Aid Certified

Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the flu shot.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

Legal pay is offered at $28 - $30 an hour, depending on experience
