Inpatient Case Management provides psychosocial assessments, evaluations, and referrals for adults, and/or families with psychiatric illness, substance abuse, and medical illness. Casework or therapy takes place in the hospital setting. Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, providing a range of psychosocial care. Works at one or more service sites, under social work clinical supervision and administrative supervision at the service site or in the service line. Qualifications
Current MA licensure as LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Work Experience: Minimum of clinical internship training or job experience in clinical human service work with population specific to service site. Incumbents must have completed at least one successful internship in a medical setting required. Prior experience in a medical setting required. Two years post Masters degree, in medical, clinical or human service setting with relevant populations preferred. All newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job specific physical agility exam.
