Job Functions & Responsibilities
Receiving and sorting: Process incoming mail and packages, sorting them for proper delivery to individuals or departments.
Outgoing mail: Prepare, weigh, seal, and affix postage to outgoing mail and packages for shipment via postal services and other carriers like FedEx or UPS.
Record keeping: Maintain logs and records of all incoming and outgoing mail, including tracking packages.
Equipment operation: Use equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and mail-sorting machines.
Security and confidentiality: Ensure the security of mail and packages by following established protocols.
Administrative support: Handle additional tasks like data entry (Microsoft office skills at basic level needed), scanning documents, and managing inter-office duties (answering customer calls).
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and one year of administrative experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Drivers License or ability to obtain a Florida Drivers License within six months of hire date.

FLSA Status: Placement based on Education and Experience
