Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
Overview
The Social Worker will provide clinical care and mental health consultation to clients and their caregivers in an outpatient setting. Clients include children and their parents of all ages and abilities, but will focus on ages 0-5 in an early learn center. Responsibilities
Conduct individual, group, and family therapy. Document in a timely and high-quality manner. Assess, identify, and provide services for patients/families; address psychosocial concerns as well as crisis intervention, advocacy and community referrals. Collaborate with school personnel to meet the needs of preschool-aged children by delivering consultation in classrooms. Education
Master\'s degree required. Licenses/Certifications
NYS Registration/Certification as a Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor is required. Experiences
At least 2 years of post-graduate work, experience working with children are required. Computer literacy is required. Additional language fluency is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of medical/health-related setting and/or specialty area experience preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver\'s license and a working vehicle as travel between sites is required. Moving between classrooms and between sites/locations daily is required. Entering timely, accurate notes and documentation is required. Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (subject to change with notice, based on client/program needs) Salary Range
Salary Range: $39.683/hr - $48.430 Employment Non-Discrimination
