Base Pay Range $20.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Contract length: 6‑month contract.

Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve branch inquiries related to Gain/Loss account maintenance, cost basis adjustments, and 1099‑B tax reporting, ensuring accurate and timely support for Wealth Management branch personnel and clients.
Perform manual adjustments and reconciliations on customer accounts to correct cost basis discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and IRS regulations.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Gain/Loss reporting standards, including educational support for branch staff regarding regulatory requirements, system functionality, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with internal departments—such as Operations, Tax Reporting, and Compliance—to research and resolve complex account issues, escalating cases appropriately and maintaining thorough documentation of all resolutions.
Monitor and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines, ensuring completion of daily operational tasks, periodic reconciliations, and annual tax reporting cycles while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality of work.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics) and professional experience in the financial services industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of investment products, cost basis reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial data analysis, and process controls, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications for database management, data modeling, and reconciliation tasks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey complex financial information, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and provide clear guidance to branch personnel and internal partners.
