Base Pay Range
$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr
The Human Resources Assistant will support the Human Resources Department and the VP of Administration with various duties related to HR Information Systems (ADP Workforce Now) and new hire onboarding. The role also handles benefits, payroll, recruiting, company security, monthly billing, cell phone management, and housing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with entering employee information into the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now)
Maintain confidential files, records, and the personnel filing system
Assist the Recruitment Specialist with job postings, scheduling interviews, and attending job fairs
Assist with the new employee onboarding process and new hire orientation
Support the VP of Administration with company security, monthly billing, phones, and housing
Provide back-up support to other members of the HR and Payroll Department
Maintain the company organizational chart
Assist with employee job bids and interviews for internal positions
Assist in planning company events such as holiday parties and job fairs
Job Specifications Education Required Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, marketing, or related field is preferred. At minimum an associate’s degree is required.
Experience Required 1–2 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting is preferred. Previous experience in HR is highly desirable. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
