Execute Test Plans:
Perform manual testing across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop) following established test plans and use cases. Defect Management:
Accurately identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects and issues using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). Regression Testing:
Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure existing functionalities remain stable after new deployments. Feature Validation:
Participate in the testing of new features and product enhancements, providing clear and timely feedback. Documentation:
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and QA documentation. Collaboration:
Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and project goals. Process Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Qualifications
Experience:
0-2 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related technical field (internships or relevant coursework count). Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
and
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) . Detail-Oriented:
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting defects and reporting progress. Adaptability:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment. Preferred
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies. Experience with
Jira, Confluence,
or similar project management and bug tracking tools. Knowledge of different testing types (e.g., functional, usability, performance, security). Basic experience with or exposure to
SQL
and
API testing
tools (e.g., Postman).
