Lead Field Installer
to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in hands-on environments and has a passion for working with a variety of metals and complex assemblies. You will be responsible for leading the on-site installation of custom metal products—including miscellaneous, ornamental, and structural steel. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform the installation of fabricated assemblies and structural steel products on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to complete installations accurately and efficiently. Perform complex field layouts and precise installation of custom metal components. Weld using TIG, MIG, and Stick processes across various alloys (must be certified). Operate a wide range of metalworking equipment including shears, saws, drill presses, ironworkers, and welding machines. Demonstrate expert-level understanding of metal properties and reactions to bending, heating, and stress. Ensure proper rigging and material handling during installations using forklifts, manlifts, and other heavy equipment. Polish, grind, deburr, and finish metal surfaces including stainless steel. Fabricate components using templates and fixtures; assemble metal products on-site as needed. Maintain and manage assigned service truck, tools, and equipment. Interface directly with customers on-site to coordinate work and ensure schedule compliance. Lead and coordinate large jobs with multiple crews across various metal fabrication projects.
